Canadian Ski Marathon
Held in February, the Canadian Ski Marathon is an annual cross-country ski event in Montebello, near Gatineau. It began in 1967, and covers 160 kilometres over two days of skiing in Quebec's western Laurentian Mountains.
There are a variety of categories of registrations for the entire family, including Family Fun Day, Mini-CSM, Junior Tourer, Geo Plein Air Classic, and Coureur de Bois. Over 2,500 participants make the trek for this fun, wintertime event.
Participants in the Canadian Ski Marathon enjoy competing in the "World's Longest Ski Run."
