National Gallery of Canada
Established in 1880, the National Gallery of Canada is an art gallery set in the city of Ottawa, just across the river from Gatineau. Known for its glass and granite structure, the gallery features a nearly unbeatable collection of paintings, sculptures, photographs, and other unique works of art native to the True North.
The museum offers featured, rotating exhibits throughout the year, with past exhibitions from artists like Alex Colville and Janet Cardiff, as well as permanent collections from names like Andy Warhol, Salvador Dalí, and Claude Monet.
