Known as the oldest neighborhood in Montreal, the aptly named Old Montreal has become a hub for tourism and commerce for the City of Saints. The area features some of its original architecture dating back to the 17th century, including cobblestone streets and horse-drawn calèches.
Must-see attractions in Old Montreal are abundant – the New York Life Building, Montreal City Hall, and the Pointe-à-Calière museum are some of the noteworthy names. The sight seeing continues at both Old Port and Champ de Mars – both offer spectacular views of downtown and Jacques Cartier Bridge.
