Quebec Winter Carnival
Held annually in January and February, the Quebec Winter Carnival has become the "Largest Winter Carnival in the World." The Snow Capital of Quebec City first celebrated winter in 1894 to warm the hearts of its citizens.
Now, the carnival is the third in the line of "top carnivals," following Rio and New Orleans carnivals. Plan your Quebec vacation in time to be a part of the winter fun. Favorite activities include canoe races, snow sculptures, sledding, the snow bath, snow rafting, soap box derby, sleigh rides, dogsled racing, and the WestJet Zipline.
Grab a red trumpet, don your red clothes, and have fun celebrating along the parade route.
